Our 2024 APCO Annual Report & Action Plan highlights our achievements and future goals as we work toward sustainable packaging solutions. We have achieved a Leading performance level, demonstrating significant progress in our packaging sustainability journey.
Key Highlights:
- Governance & Strategy: We have integrated packaging sustainability into our business strategies, aligning with the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
- Design & Procurement: All our packaging is reviewed against the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines, focusing on material efficiency and environmental impact.
- Recycled Content: We aim for 100% of our packaging to include recycled materials.
- Recoverability: 76% of our packaging is designed for recovery at end-of-life.
- Disposal Labelling: 68% of our packaging includes clear labelling for correct disposal.
- On-Site Waste: We divert 99% of our on-site waste from landfill through recycling programs.
- Problematic Materials: We are phasing out problematic single-use plastics such as lightweight bags and expanded polystyrene.
