Kuala Lumpur, 12 February 2022 – Mun Global Sdn Bhd sponsored more than RM70,000 worth of cash and gloves for the COVID-19 Vaccination Training Programme, which was organised by the Malaysian Community Pharmacy Guild (MCPG).
To date, 238 participants have successfully completed the program and are now recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Health as certified vaccinators. “Mun Global is proud to be part of this historic program where community pharmacists are now included as immunisers who can administer COVID-19 vaccines to the public. It is an important milestone in contributing towards the national COVID-19 immunisation programme and achieving greater healthcare system in Malaysia.”, said Alicia Lim, Marketing Manager of Mun Global.

Mun Global sponsored altogether 1,200 boxes
Attended by almost 400 participants and delegates, the training programme entails a 2-day module-based training, followed by an on-site Basic Life Support Training and Vaccine Workshop, as well as clinical attachment. Mun Global sponsored altogether 1,200 boxes of GloveOn Coats Nitrile Examination Gloves for purpose of the practical assessment.
The objectives of the programme were to:
- Equip pharmacists to be vaccinators and assist the national COVID-19 immunisation programme.
- Expand the role of pharmacists as healthcare professionals in Malaysia.
